Description
The Morphology Card Deck is designed to support explicit instruction in word structure and vocabulary development through the study of the most common prefixes, suffixes, Latin roots, and Greek word forms.
152 cards provide concise meanings, and example words to help students recognize meaningful word parts and apply morphological analysis to reading, spelling, and vocabulary tasks. Organized for systematic and cumulative instruction, the cards promote decoding, encoding, comprehension, and academic language growth while helping students make connections among related words across content areas.
This resource is appropriate for structured literacy instruction, intervention, and classroom vocabulary development.
Each card measures 4″x6″.
